Sometimes, it takes something to get our attention..to wake us up, so that we realize that we are indeed blessed. Maybe it's running late for an appointment, when we realize that if we had been 5 minutes down the road, we might have been in an accident. I'm learning to breathe, relax and let go. I realize that I am blessed to be here and that life should never be taken for granted.
This week I attended a career training session that is about to take me in a completely new direction. Excited? Yes indeed. Scared? Maybe. But I am learning to trust God in all things. Also, I'm working on a final paper for school. Imagine me returning to college after all these years. Well, why the heck not? I could sit here and wait for ... what exactly? Life is passing me by and it's time for me to get back in the game. Whatever happens, getting my degree is something that no one can take from me.
Ok, now on to other things! I'm posting updates to my hair growth! I think I have at least another 1/2 inch!!! to some people that may not be a big deal, but it means I'm getting closer to having enough length to start my Sisterlocks! WooHoo!!! I am anticipating that I will have enough length by the end of September to get started. We'll see...

Evie,
ReplyDeleteThank you soooo much for your comments. It is an honor to have you as a follower(especially as my first follower) of my blog. Thank you for your words of encouragement in updating my blog, I have fallen short in that area, however today is a new day. You are indeed a source of courage, strength, and inspiration and I thank you for sharing your life journey and soon-to-be sisterlock journey.
